Too bad I discovered the beauty of fruits and vegetables so long after I discovered the beauty of German chocolate cake and poppyseed torte. Better late than never, I guess.
There is something so appealing about a thick juicy slice of tomato even before you put it on a BLT.
We whipped up these two produce pentagrams just for fun and to see if there was anyone who would be upset by the word “pentagram.” Although paired with something as wholesome as produce how could anyone complain?
Number One consists of onions, green peppers, lemons, oranges, peas and carrots. In Petagram number two, I tried to make my produce look like flowers. Seemed like a good idea at the time.
We’ll be making smaller versions with just a couple of slices. I think they’d look jazzy in a kitchen. |
