Married in 1966. Established Krauski Art glass in 1970.
Sons Peter and Matthew
The Krauskis are part of a family of glass working excellence. Tony Krauski, Robert’s Father
was a glass painter by trade. Robert’s Brother, Jerome has a glass studio in northern Wisconsin.
Their son, Peter is employed by a glass studio in Western Waukesha County.
Education:
Both of the Krauskis are largely self-taught. In addition to familial exposure to traditions and
techniques, they have also been educated within the artistic community itself. In the span of 35 years, they have collaborated extensively with other artists and craftsmen throughout the state. This list includes not only glass workers but also illustrators, painters, printmakers, ceramists and metalsmiths and can be provided upon request.
